Racing

Racing!!!

Wouldn't it be fun to be tiny (as in my favorite third grade book: The Littles Take a Trip) and then discover a child's bedroom filled with hotwheels and tracks! Ohhhh to be able to race along the actual hot wheel tracks and sit in the plastic toy bleachers as a Little.

I spoke about this a few posts ago, but incase you missed it... when I was a child, I believed that Little People might really exist. I hoped they did. I wanted a little family to take care of. To carry them in my pocket when I went off to school. Feed them crumbs from the dinner table and give them a ball of cotton to sleep on at night.

Somewhat similliar to my "transportation piece: TotTown" Here is such a land for the Littles...

Oh wow I would loooove to be little too! I used to wish I could get inside a hot wheel or matchbox car and drive it around.
That's an awesome track! Wish I had one! :o)

I just love your colorful illustrations... so much fun!! I saw that you did the half marathon in Healdsburg... I love that town and the people were so friendly when we visited a couple years ago. Way to go!! (and lucky you!!... I'd move there in a heartbeat!)

Nice illo! This would make an awesome floor mat. Then I could play with toy cars and have them going around the tracks.

A while ago you wrote in my blog how you also have a chipmunk voice like me and drive stick shift, now I can tell you that I used to believe in Little People. Before my sister was born, I was a lonely only child -- my mom told me that I had a brother as big as her thumb who came to visit at night (but, I always fell asleep before he showed up), and kissed my nose.
