Now I'll be looking for Spot and... what was the kitty/s name? My mother was named Jane, and my Aunt is Sally (who was "curly and blonde" when small)-- so I always had a particular fondness for them. Did you have to buy a license from the publisher?
The kitty's name was Puff. :O)

Yes, we do have a license from the publisher. with a large style guide that I must follow . There are limited phrases and words and images we can use. I make the most of it and do the best I can within the guidelines. Then Mum went and married "Bob." Smith. So they were Jane and Bob Smith. VERY VERY common at the time. (I'm sure the commonness of it chafed her horribly!) I'll go investigate the other product lines! Go, Puff, Go!... and now to work. ;-)
