I ran seven miles this morning

This video is what I filmed from my point of view this morning as I ran. I used my new FLIP camera! We ran as a group up at Annadel State Park in the frigid low 30s. It was fun. And it was hard. But it was so completely worth it! Next week 8 miles! The Half-Marathon will be set up in those hills in January. And that is what we are all training for. I look forward to being able to achieve that goal.

You go ms doodlegirl! I think you can do anything you put your mind to! Loved your video. Hopefully i burned calories watching it. I need to get up off my sorry butt and start walking. You Wallaces certainly have the running gene -- that's for sure!

Wow that was awesome! Ya got me pooped out again! :o)
That must have been tricky to hold the camera while running, and 7 miles! Way to go! Also, some of that terrain looks pretty rocky, don't sprain an ankle! Goood goin' Shawn!

Shawn, thanks for documenting the run. Sometimes it is hard to articulate to folk what it is like to run on trails, but I think you captured it.

Catch me at the next Sunday run and I'll be your camera man for the post-run analysis and you can do a wrap-up interview!

Keep running strong and I'll see you on the trail.

Shawn,

Great job with the video. If you like that kind of thing you can check out www.TrailMonger.com .. That is a site of mine where I helmet cam almost every legal trail in Annadel going down. All put to music. I also have the Annadel Half route helmet cammed (no music) at www.AnnadelHalf.com

Ciao,
Marc
