Carrots left behind

Santa has come and gone. My 2-year-old nephew shows me the remainder of the carrots the reindeer left behind on his front porch from the night before. In his tiny hand, he shows me the teeth marks that remain on the half-eaten carrots.

He was so worried Santa would get stuck in their fireplace. But he made it just fine. --We all did.

Oh the magic of Christmas.

Awww! I'm so glad Santa made it! and looks like the reindeers ate good too.
Rudolph is a messy eater, but I guess they're in a hurry :o)
Merry Christmas Shawn!

Oh my gosh...that is sooooo CUTE! I never thought of the carrot thing. That is such a cool idea! I had a friend in grade school who used to tell me about the footprints that were on the carpet in front of the fireplace. Her dad used to put flour on the bottoms of his shoes and walk them across the carpet. Looked like Santa soot!
