So I'm putting up the dishes this morning when I can't shake this feeling of being stared at. But. By who? WhoOO0oo? I slowly lift my eyes upward and see two eyes staring at me on a rooftop next door.
Is that an owl?
I stop and stare through the window above the sink for a series of moments before my eyes are able to adjust to this owl-like figure. And then my heart melts.
She is my lovely cat, Mollie!!

Ahhhhhh Hahahahahahahha!! Oh! My! Gawd! That's HILARIOUS!!! Look at her! She's just lookin at you like, "So what the hec are YOU lookin at?" Oh man! What a CRACK UP! Molly is a girl after my own heart...she's A CLIMBER!! I think I finally found my sherpa! Time to get my lottery number for Everest and sign us both up...how much you think she can carry in a pack for me? Can you just see her with her little mini sherpa back pack and crampons?
So there I was...just sittin' up on the roof...minding my own kitty business...and all of a sudden:
FLASH! FLASH!..FLASH! All these paparazzi's show up! Click..FLASH! What the???
You do realize you'll have to pay royalties on those photos....I'll have my agent call you.
Mollie would be absolutely adorable! But. She's not so much into the cold. I had just fed her before she went on her morning climb. After a bit of a rest at the top, she came back down and curled up on my bed fast asleep. :O)
Oh lil' miss mollie. You are truly the queen of your home.
I like the last picture- she looks like she's ready to lead the charge over the hill!
Oh tony, you are soo riiight! Any moment, it looks like other little cat heads will be poppin up over the ridge...and soon they will be charging down for the Battle of Roofville.
ummmm....anybody see my ladder? i'm ready to head down now...
awww, that is so funny...sweet little mollie, watching you like a hawk...err...owl.
